PRINTING MANAGEMENT (To be discontinued as of 1 January 2024, and replaced by Diploma in Printing Management)

Course Information and Fees

The course provides the student with a knowledge of the major printing processes in South Africa and the skills to use various types of substrate.The graduate is equipped to understand the nature of organisation and management, to identify, investigate and make recommendations on shortcomings associated with printing, printing systems and management procedures.

The National Diploma is offered only to those currently employed in the printing and or packaging industries i.e. it is offered only on a part time basis, and students may progress through the course at their own pace.

 

Career Opportunities
Graduates follow careers in the administration and management of the printing, publishing and packaging industries.

Management and Printing Processes to be taken in sequence of levels I to III.
Other subjects may be taken in any sequence.

 

Offering Type and Duration
Part-Time / Usually the duration is at least 3 – 4 years part time. All subjects are offered after hours; some are available during the day as well. Estimating for printers 3 are offered over Saturdays.
Course is offered on District Six Campus. for all subjects.
