Course Information and Fees

The course equips students to:

  • Develop a limited range of sewn products
  • Classify a range of raw materials
  • Review production processes using relevant technical, interpersonal and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills

Purpose and Rationale of the qualification
Persons achieving this qualification will be able to develop a limited range of sewn products, classify a range of raw materials and review production processes using relevant technical, interpersonal and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.

 

Career Information
Students will be prepared to move beyond the design side of the clothing industry into areas such as work study, human resource management and training, production organisation, cutting room and quality management, marketing and general clothing management.
