The purpose of this programme is to develop the competence to conduct independent research under minimal guidance in the field of education, training and development. Such research should contribute significantly to the body of knowledge through the understanding, application and evaluation of existing knowledge.The Doctor Educationis is a post-graduate qualification aimed at creating opportunities for candidates to engage in highly advanced and specialised academic or professional study of and research into an aspect of education, training or development.
Career Opportunities
This qualification is relevant to educators in schools and technical colleges as well as subject advisors, education development officers and lecturers in higher education.
