ND: Event Management
Course Information and Fees
The focus of the programme is to develop the skills of prospective Events Managers to successfully manage any type of event set within any type of environment. Industry participation in the delivery of the programme is critical and forms a vital component In the form of participation in the classroom and practical involvement, such as events support and attendance, enabling the student to work at events for practical experience and to attend events to gain insight to the events management process.
Career Opportunities
The events industry is huge and draws on the skills and knowledge of a wide range of people. There are events managers, who oversee the whole process and ensure that the event meets the client’s brief and budget; the creative team, who develop innovative ideas and themes; production and technical staff who set up stages and arenas; health and safety and law and licensing specialists; marketing and public relations officers; and the front of house events staff and supervisors.
