To equip students with the competencies required to master the core Human Resource Management processes and practices. These include:
- Personnel administration
- Recruitment and selection
- Performance management
- Job evaluation and compensation management
- Provision and management of training
- Stategic planning for human resource management and practices

Opportunities exist in large and small enterprises and in the public sector. Graduates are employed in the following positions:
- Personnel Administrator
- Personnel Officer
- Industrial Relations Officer
- Training Officer
- Union Organizer
- Labour Official or Inspector
- Recruitment Specialist
